Delete your Aurum Life account

Aurum Life is published by Aurum Technology Limited

You can delete your Aurum Life account and everything we hold for you on our servers at any time. There is no waiting period, no cancellation window, and no way for us to undo it afterwards, so please export your data first if you want to keep a copy.

Option 1 — from the web

Go to aurum-life.com/account, sign in, and use Delete your account at the bottom of the page. You'll confirm by typing your email address and the word DELETE, and — if you have two-step verification enabled — by entering a current authenticator code. This works whether or not you still have the app installed.

Option 2 — in the app

Open Aurum Life and go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account, then confirm. Deletion runs immediately.

Option 3 — by email

If you can't sign in, email privacy@aurumtechnologyltd.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify that you own the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in credentials, including any two-step verification setup and recovery codes.
Your profile — name, preferred name, email address, and settings.
All Life OS content synced to our servers: pillars, areas, projects, tasks, notes and calendar events.
Your captures, including any photos and voice recordings you uploaded.
Chat history with the agent, and any memories the agent had stored about you.
Agent activity: job history, scheduled tasks, decision traces and your consent record.
Connector authorisations and the tokens for any third-party service you had connected.
Push notification tokens for your devices.
Your billing customer record with our payment processor.

What is kept, and for how long

We retain a single minimal audit record of the deletion: an internal one-way identifier and the date and time the request was carried out. We keep it to be able to evidence that we honoured your request. It contains none of your content, and it cannot be used to reconstruct your account.

Data held only on your own device — your local Life OS files and any offline cache — is not ours to delete. It is removed when you delete those files or uninstall the app.

Backups and third-party service logs may retain copies for a short period before their own retention windows expire. See the Privacy Policy for retention detail and the full list of sub-processors.

Delete some of your data, without deleting your account

You don't have to delete your whole Aurum Life account to remove data from our servers. Each of these works on its own:

Agent memories — in the app, go to Settings → Privacy & data and use Forget all agent memories. This clears them on our servers and across every device you're signed in on.
Chat history — open the chat history list and delete any individual conversation.
Individual content — delete any pillar, area, project, task, note or calendar event in the app. The deletion syncs to our servers, removing it there too.
Captures — delete a capture from your Inbox, which also removes any photo or voice recording uploaded with it.
A connected service — revoke it from the Connectors screen to delete the stored authorisation and tokens for that service.

To stop future processing rather than delete what already exists, turn off cloud processing from your account settings or the app's Privacy & data screen. Be aware that switching a consent off halts that processing immediately but does not by itself delete data already created — use the options above for that.

For anything you can't remove yourself, email privacy@aurumtechnologyltd.com describing what you'd like deleted. We'll verify you own the account and action it within 30 days.

In every case the data is removed from our live systems immediately. We keep no separate copy of deleted content; backups and third-party service logs may retain it briefly until their own retention windows expire, as described in the Privacy Policy.
