Where it starts.

Each project arrives with its purpose, milestones and first tasks written out. Here is how the first three read.

Written case for a second citizenship

People who apply without writing down why often buy the wrong thing: a passport when a residence permit would have done, or a programme whose travel access does not cover the countries they actually visit. One page naming the problem you want solved, whether that is travel, a family fallback, business or a tie to the region, becomes the test every later choice is held against.

First tasks

  • Write the main reason you want a second citizenship in one sentence
  • List the ten countries your household visited most in the last five years
  • Note which reasons a residence permit or long visa would already cover
  • Share the page with your spouse or partner and agree it

Five Eastern Caribbean programmes side by side

St Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Lucia all run citizenship by investment programmes, and they differ more than the brochures suggest: investment routes, who counts as a dependant, residence or visit requirements, interview rules and which countries accept the passport without a visa.

First tasks

  • Find the official citizenship by investment unit website for each of the five islands
  • Build the comparison table with a row for each rule that matters to you
  • Record the date you checked each figure beside it
  • Mark the two programmes that best match your reasons page

Whether your current nationality survives a second one

Some countries remove citizenship automatically when a citizen voluntarily takes another, and others require permission first or a declaration afterwards. Finding out before you pay anything protects the passport you already rely on, and the answer can differ for you, your spouse and children born in different places.

First tasks

  • List every nationality held by each member of the household
  • Find each country's official guidance on taking another nationality voluntarily
  • Book a short consultation with a nationality lawyer if any answer is unclear
  • Record a yes, no or conditional answer for each person

Make it yours.

Install Citizenship by Investment Programmes, then tell Aurum the date you're aiming for. It checks whether the plan fits the weeks you actually have.
